First, a shoutout to BASN, thanks so much to them for giving me this set to make this review and to give it my sincere opinions and impressions. How the BASN MMCX sounds:
The BASN MMCX with its 2 × 10 mm Dynamic Driver + 1 BA offers a mild V-shaped tuning, a very clean and balanced sound with a decent subbass boost and enough midbass presence, with a pleasant extension into the lower and high frequencies, a slightly recessed lower mids and a smooth pinna gain more focused in vocals and instruments, with not so much sibilance, with a clean, crisp and aired treble extension, with a not so noticeable BA timbre to the overall tuning.
BASS: The subbass thump not as predominant as the midbass bump, the bass shelf overall is very clean, detailed and crisp, with a delightful dynamics and a natural decay, it bleeds a little into the lower mids without mudding the vocals.
MIDS: As I mentioned before, the bass bleeds slightly into the mids but the male vocals and bass kick are not muddy, neither veiled, but it is recessed, a smooth pinna gain who takes a nice approach of cleanliness and enough presence and resolution, not sounding thin at all, but have in mind is kind of rolled-off, I think it's to be able to be used at high volume, taking into account the type of consumer this set is aimed at, so you can hear those plates and cymbals, configuring the female vocals forwarded as well, neither sibilant nor fatiguing.
TREBLE: A good and not offensive presentation, the treble is very crisp and sharp without much harshness, very smooth but also airy, sounds natural, clean, transparent, and without much notice of the usual BA timbre of other sets, so, all the instrumentals and microdetails are well delivered.
TECHNICALITIES: The upper treble extends with grace, presenting an airy but not so spacey sound, the soundstage is not so wide but have plenty of space sensation and depth. The BASN MMCX has an enough resolving presentation of sound with a decent imaging more than average for its price, with a nice layering of instruments to give in fast and full of details tracks no congestion at all, with a good distinction of all the instruments involved.

Final thoughts and conclusions:
The BASN MMCX stands out as a well-rounded offering and a good option in the 110 USD or less segment, it's very balanced and its mids and treble smoothness and extension put it as an overall nice all-rounder with a natural and musical character, making it ideal for musicians and audiophiles, perhaps it is also well-fitted to other kind of listeners who appreciate a joyful and charming audio experience. In my case I am using it mostly for jazz, rock, metal and salsa, but can handle other music genres like Hip Hop and RNB, POP, J-POP and K-POP, classical music, etc…
The BASN MMCX is easily driven by low powered sources like the TRN TE or the Tanchjim Stargate II dongles, showing it as a compelling choice for hybrid IEM lovers and persons who like to play an instrument more than listening to music. BASN offers with this MMCX a sound to anyone who wants to experience a high-quality entry into the Hi-Fi world, with a nice package, and at an affordable price, that remains in force in the current market.
Again, thanks to BASN for giving me this IEM to review, also, thanks to you the reader for enjoying this revision, and happy listening!
