These IEMs Made Me Rethink My Entire Mixand My Life Choices

IEMs are usually hit-or-miss. These? These were a roundhouse kick to my expectations.

The BASN ASONE in-ears didnt just sound goodthey made me question whether I had been recording inside a cardboard box this whole time.

Sound:
? Bass: Deep. Tight. Hits harder than my favorite drummers ego.
? Mids: Smooth like they went to therapy.
? Highs: Clear enough to reveal secrets I didnt want to hear in my own playing.

Comfort & Fit:

They come with more ear tips than a YouTube comments section. One of them fit like it knew me. I forgot they were even inuntil I sneezed and heard it in 4K.

Durability:

The cable feels like it could tow a small car. The case? Lets just say if my gear bag fell off a cliff, Im diving for this first.

Bottom Line:

Whether youre recording, performing, or just want to hear your favorite song like it was mixed by wizardsthese IEMs are the real deal. BASN didnt just make monitors, they made a personality trait.

Highly recommend. 10/10 would buy again, but I wont have tobecause theyre built like they mean it

Incredible when driven properly

Bought these and tried then with an iFi go for portability. The sound was thin and tiring. In comparison my pair of KZ ZS10 sounded better even straight out of an iPhone. Decided to give them another chance and tried them with a Woo Audio WA6 desktop tube amp that I use for over the ear headphones. The experience was completely different. These IEMs when properly driven sound warm, detailed and powerful. Soundstage is good and treble isnt harsh at all with a good tube amp. In the end, these didnt fit my needs for a portable IEM but have instead become one of my staples when listening at home. With the proper setup, these are a steal and I would recommend them for anyone looking for a great sounding affordable but not cheaply made pair of IEMs.

Please note not every tube amp is fit to use with IEMs, and not every IEM responds well to tube amps. Please check the specs before testing.
